Summary

Description
English: Het Kareol, fomer villa in Aerdenhout built in 1911 that has been rebuilt in 1979 as an apartment building. The grounds remain parkland.
Tile decoration inside tempel, part of a grounds-wide decoration plan by the artist Max Laeuger, of which only this pattern remains. Another large peacock from the former building can be seen in the Bloemendaal city hall.
