Description
English: Greek marble relief c. 300 BC depicting a pious family offering a ram to two deities dining at a table in a temple. The male deity is presumed to be a deified hero, as the head of the horse in the background was a symbol of heroization. From the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek collection, item number IN 1594.
