Description
English: She was originally from Lastrup, Hanover, Germany. She was in America by the late 1890s to work and attended high school at Hughes High School in Cincinnati, which she graduated in 1903. She went to Havana and Washington D.C. where she organized labor rights movements before helping found AFGE in 1932. Picture taken circa July 1917.
