Description "Hel og Valkyrien: Skizze til Ragnarok" (Hel and the Valkyries: sketch to Ragnarok) by Ludvig Abelin Schou. The illustration presumably depicts valkyries being overtaken by the forces of Hel during the events of Ragnarök (a scene that is not described in extent sources).
