Summary

Description A German Heinkel He 59 C-2 search-and-rescue aircraft (Wk.Nr. 1314, D-ARYX) in flight. This was the prototype SAR conversion and reached Seenotflugkommando 2 at List, Sylt island, on 1 August 1940.
