HearFones are a passive device that directly focus the sounds of one's own voice into one's own ears.
Though designed originally for singers who may be concerned with exactly how their voice sounds to others, for example creating precisely the correct vowel sound, pitch or pronunciation, HearFones have found wide use in many other fields as well.
HearFones are the subject of U.S. Patent Number 6,229,901.
