Summary

Description
English: A single Hawker Typhoon Ia, R7881, experimentally fit with an AI Mk. VI radar. AI Mk. IV was a single-operator version of the Mk. IV, the first night fighter radar system. The electronics were packed into the underwing container that looks like a drop tank. One set of the horizontal receiver antennas can be seen. Other images of the aircraft show the same antenna layout on both wings, mirrored.
