Summary
| Description |
English: These harlequin bugs showed up in my garden this year as soon as it began warming up in early spring. Since I garden organically, I initially removed these pests by hand and stepping on them to kill them. However, they multiplied faster than I could terminate them. This was the worst turnip crop I ever planted. Removing all cruciferous plants in my garden and composting should get rid of these pests until fall. At that time, I will plant less cruciferous vegetables and inspect them more closely. I definitely was caught off guard this spring and will do my best to not allow this to happen in the future. |
