1 Ḥrm bn Ṯwbn tnḫy w-tn—
2 ḏrn l-ḏ-S¹mwy b-hn qrb m—
3 rʾtm b-ḥrm-<h>w w-mlṯ ḥyḍ<m>
4 w-hn bhʾ ʿly nfs¹m w-hn b—
5 hʾ ġr ṭhr<m> w-yʾb b-ʾks¹wt-
6 hw ġr-ṭhr<m> w-hn ms¹ ʾn*ṯ*<m>
7 ḥyḍ<m> w-lm yġts¹l w-hn n—
8 ḍḫ ʾks¹wt-<h>w hmr<m> f-hḍrʿ
9 w-ʿnw w-yḥl<ʾ>n w-l-yṯwbn
English translation by Corpus:
1 Ḥrm son of Ṯwbn confessed and did
2 penance to ḏ-S¹mwy, because he approached
3 a woman during her forbidden period and had a sexual intercourse with her while she was having her period;
4 and because he went into a woman in her confinement; and because
5 he entered in a state of ritual impurity, and he stayed in his
6 impure clothes, and because he touched a woman
7 while she was having her period and he did not wash himself; and because he
8 defiled his clothes with semen; and he showed submission
9 and distress and he will pay a fine; and may He be generous.
