Description
Together with File:Hans Memling 050.jpg (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York) this panel was probably part of a larger work, a diptych or a triptych. The lady on the other panel is holding a carnation as a sign that she is in love. Together the panels formed an allegory of (true) love.
