This chart represents the results of detrending historical delta 14C data by removing long term secular variation. Raw data is depicted in paler blue, while the dark blue represents a weighted smoothing. In theory this results in the depiction of the 2,000 year Hallstadtzeit cycles.

This figure was produced by Leland McInnes using gnuplot and is licensed under the GFDL. All data is from publicly available sources.
