Summary

Description
English: Engraving by J.C. Greive and R. de Vries jr. On the north quay of the dock in Vlissingen there are four warships. From left to right: Citadel van Antwerpen, Guard ship Sambre, frigate De Ruyter and a gunboat. Left the big covered slipways of the naval shipyard. In the center the small slipways, and the house of the commander of the yard and naval base. The Citadel and De Ruyter were both in Vlissingen in 1858.
Nederlands: Gravure door J.C. Greive en R. de Vries Aan de noord kade van het dok in Vlissingen liggen vier oorlogsschepen: (v.l.n.r.) de Citadel van Antwerpen, het wachtschip Sambre, het fregat De Ruyter en een kanonneerboot. Links de overdekte hellingen voor de bouw van grote schepen, midden de kleine hellingen en het woonhuis van de Directeur en Commandant der Marine. De citadel en de De Ruyter waren in 1858 beiden in Vlissingen.
