It was inevitable that, following a long spell of sunny weather, the departure of something as unusual as a Dutch submarine would bring an exceptionally murky day. HNLMS Walrus (pennant number S802) has just cleared the entrance to Belfast harbour (at a speed which, after a lengthy vigil, almost took me by surprise).
