Article

Murder of Dee Dee Blancharde

Portion used

Cropped more tightly on Gypsy

Low resolution?

Yes

Purpose of use

Depict Gypsy's appearance when posing as disabled, as her mother, who probably suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy, made her do. In the article, that appearance is discussed in sourced commentary as facilitating the charade and epitomizing the abuse that ultimately led Gypsy and a boyfriend to kill Dee Dee.

Replaceable?

Cannot create a free replacement because Gypsy no longer needs to pose this way.
