Summary

Description
English: The dock is a central part of the economy and social life of Gustavus, Alaska. In the summer, whale watching trips and sport fishing vessels all arrive and depart from here. As the winter storms approach, the State of Alaska, which manages and owns the dock, tows the floating moorings to safe harbor.
