Depicted in 3/4 profile, Alexander wears a Chicago Cubs home uniform. Having just thrown the ball, Alexander holds his right arm in front of his body, chest height. His gloved left hand rests down by his side. Captured on the field, an occupied stadium is visible in the background. Several men in street clothes stand on the field behind Alexander. Based on the specific design of the uniform worn by Alexander, this image was captured in 1921. Handwriting is visible in the upper right corner of the image, it is not original.
