Summary

Description
English: Walter Burley Griffin Incinerator, Glebe, Sydney --according to a Sydney City Council site (http://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/learn/sydneys-history/people-and-places/pyrmont-incinerator), this building was demolished in 1992, but this photo is dated 2011. The photo shows the remains of the incinerator base that were preserved. This is the smaller incinerator at Glebe, not Pyrmont. The one at Pyrmont was demolished entirely, and replaced with a large apartment block.
