English: Grenfell-Hunt papyrus (MS Gr. class. f.48 [P]). The papyrus fragment shows two columns from Pherecydes' Heptamychos, of which next to nothing survives. The fragment does not mention the author or title, but the identification is certain because Clement of Alexandria (Strom. VI, 9, 4) refers to the content of Pherecydes' book, which corresponds to the content of the first column.
