English: This photograph shows Grand River Railway Car 848 travelling southbound after having departed from the Brantford Union Station in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. The white sign in the window announces its destination as the southern terminus of the line, Port Dover. While this was nominally the track of the Lake Erie and Northern Railway, by this time the two railways' operations had become consolidated under Canadian Pacific Electric Lines management. The Colborne Street bridge across the Grand River is visible in the background to the left. The Brantford Armoury, with its distinctive turret, is visible in the background to the right.
