English: Grain Silo, King George Dock The grain silo dates from the completion of the dock in 1914 but has been extended over the years. Built as an import silo mainly for wheat, barley and maize, but in the 1980's 'turned round' to act as an export silo for surplus home-produced grains. Capacity is around 60,000 tonnes.
