Description
Deutsch: Blick aus Südosten auf das Bürgerhaus Roothuus an der Dorfstrasse 36 in Gonten. Das Erdgeschoss ist gemauert (weiss), der obere Teil aus Holz und in kräftiger roter Farbe. Die Nordostfassade ist mit Holzschindeln beschlagen. Auf der Hauptfassade (Südost) sind unter dem Vordach Malereien zu sehen. Unter dem Gibel ist folgende Jahreszahl angegeben; MDCC LXXVIII (1778). Das Haus hat über dem Eingang (links im Erdgeschoss) noch vier Stockwerke, zwei davon im Dachstock.
