United States Ambassador to the United Nations Arthur Goldberg (left) is accompanied by Lt. Col. William R. Richardson, Commander, 3rd Battalion, 39th Infantry, during a tour of the village of Rach Kien in South Vietnam. Ambassador Goldberg spoke to Rach Kien school children and witnessed a 9th Infantry Division MEDCAP operation before departing the village to continue his tour of Southeast Asia.
