English: Panorama of the Godavari Bridge from the banks of river Godavari in Rajahmundry, India. Godavari Bridge is the longest road/rail bridge in Asia with a length of 2.7 kilometers. Constructed by the Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), this bridge is a modern day engineering feat. The bridge is fit for 250 km/h (160 mph) rail services. It was commissioned by South Central Railway of India on 11 March 1997. The bridge links East and West Godavari districts of state Andhra Pradesh.
