Summary

Description The Glastonbury stone at St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Memphis, Tennessee. Text on sign reads "This is a part of one of the columns of the ancient abbey of Glastonbury, England, the 'Avalon' of Tennyson's Idylls of the King, the place where, it is said, Joseph of Arimathea preached the first Christian sermon in England."
