Description
English: Glasgow. North Kelvinside. Crosslands. 182 Queen Margaret Drive. The Crosslands pub was featured in Trainspotting, Danny Boyle's film from 1996. Iconic scene, where Francis Begbie (played by Robert Carlyle) launched a pint glass from a balcony and caused a brawl. Pub is located in the 19th century building - former Baptist Chapel (see map: New Parliamentary Divisions 1918. New Plan of Glasgow with Suburbs, from Ordnance and Actual Surveys, Constructed for the Post Office Directory. By John Bartholomew.) Available - National Library of Scotland, http://maps.nls.uk. Pub was reopened under a new name on 2 October 2015. Now called - "So, What Comes Next?"
