Anche i turchi sono stanchi e chiedono ai veneziani la resa, che viene sdegnosamente rifiutata dal capitano Francesco Morosini. “In sì fatto bollore dell’ armi disperando Acmet Vìsir di superare la città con la forza, col mezzo di Nicasio Panagiotti, suo dragomano, scrisse al capitan generale Francesco Morosini, esortandolo a ceder la piazza, con promessa di farlo principe di Valachia e di Moldavia.
