Elle est connue pour avoir interprété le rôle de Mônica dans les films Turma da Mônica Laços et Turma da Mônica Lições. Giulia est née à Sao Paulo, fille de Clenci Benite et Adriana Barreto. Elle a une sœur, Bela Benite, qui était étudiante en théâtre. Inspirée par sa sœur, Julia a auditionné pour des films, mais n'a pas réussi. En avril 2017, elle a auditionné pour jouer Mônica dans le film Laços et a reçu le rôle. Laços est sorti en 2019 et Giulia a été acclamée. Le rôle lui a fourni un nouveau travail, et toujours en 2019, elle a participé à la série Segunda Chamada, et a enregistré le film 10 Horas Para o Natal, aux côtés de Luis Lobianco, Lorena Queiroz et Pedro Miranda. Elle a remporté la révélation de l'année, de Meus Prêmios Nick, pour le rôle de Mônica. En 2021, elle jouera dans la suite de Laços, Lições.
