DescriptionGeometric interpretation of the Probability Jaccard Index as Simplices.png
English: A probability distribution in n dimensions can be represented by dividing up the n-1 simplex into regions with area proportional to the mass on each term. When you do so, the probability jaccard index between two distributions is equal to the area of intersection of simplices that correspond to the same element.
