English: Plate XLV from The Geology of the Richmond Basin published by USGS, which has the following caption:
Calcareous concretions from Newark rocks, Dinny slope, near Tomahawk Church, Chesterfield County.
The text of the report refers to the figure as follows:
Calcareous concretions.—Calcareous concretions are met with in almost every one of the shafts and slopes of the eastern margin (of the Richmond Basin). The general character of these masses as they appear when thrown upon the surface is shown in Pl. XLV, from a photograph taken at the mouth of an incline sunk near Tomahawk Church, on the eastern margin.
