Notes Beschreibung aus Karl Woermanns Galeriekatalog 1887: Die kranke Dame mit ihrem Arzte. In weissem Atlaskleide und brauner, mit weissem Pelz besetzter Sammetjacke sitzt die Kranke, nach rechts gewandt, im Lehnstuhl und greift mit der Rechten an ihr Herz. Neben ihr steht der junge Arzt im Pelz, fühlt mit der Rechten den Puls und betrachtet zugleich ihr Wasser in dem Glase, das er in der Linken erhebt. Links im Mittelgrunde macht ihre Magd sich an den grünen Vorhängen ihres Bettes zu thun. Bez. Links am Schreibzeug auf dem Tische: Netscher. 1664.
