Notes Beschreibung aus Karl Woermanns Galeriekatalog 1887: Hirten unter hoher Felswand. Rechts spiegelt eine steile Felswand sich in einem flachen Flusse, in dem Hirten und Heerden waten. Links vorn ziehen zwei Frauen, eine auf einem Esel, eine zu Fuss mit einem Kinde an der Hand, bildeinwärts, sitzen weiter zurück ein Hirt und eine Frau mit einem Spinnrocken am Wege. Vorn in der Mitte spielt ein Knabe mit einem Hunde. Bezeichnet (ungefähr wie N. 1477): Berchem 1659.
