English: Geitsman of NKID in March 1929 re: Soviet Koreans and Chinese- An Assessment.
Geitsman says of the Koreans of the Russian Far East, "even those with citizenship are completely alien to us." Furthermore, by an NKVD secret vote in 1928, some 8,000 either newly arrived Koreans (to the USSR) or Koreans without Soviet citizenship, will be denied despite their "turning in" the necessary papers and application for citizenship. It's an interesting 70 pages of letters from Comrade Geitsman. The pages here are simply pages 1-2. The Russian copyright law of 1993 was for 50 years only.
