Français : Gecko de Delcourt (Hoplodactylus delcourti) : une espèces de Gecko géant endémique de Nouvelle-Zélande éteint dans la seconde moitié du XIXème siècle, qui pouvait atteindre 60 cm de long, Considéré comme éteint en 1870. Seuls quelques spécimens naturalisés ou reconsitutés (tel celui-ci) sont détenus par différents musée d’histoire naturelle dans le monde. Cet objet a fait partie de l'exposition "Ces chers disparus"présentée au public en 2000 par le Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Lille (MHNL)
English: Delcourt's Gecko (Hoplodactylus delcourti): a giant gecko species, endemic of New Zealand which became extinct species in the second half of the nineteenth century ; considered extinct in 1870. It could reach 60 cm long, . Only a few reconstituted or naturalized specimens (like this one) are held by some natural history museum in the world. This object was part of the exhibition "The dear departed" presented to the public in 2000 by the Lille Natural History Museum (MHNL)
Nederlands: Delcourt's gekko (Hoplodactylus delcourti): een species van de reuzengekko die endemisch was in Nieuw-Zeeland, uitgestorven in de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw en die tot 60 cm lang kon worden en die in 1870 als uitgestorven werd beschouwd. Slechts enkele genaturaliseerde of gereconstrueerde exemplaren (zoals deze) worden bewaard in verschillende natuurhistorische musea over de hele wereld. Dit object maakte deel uit van de tentoonstelling "Ces chers disparus" (De dierbare overledenen) die in 2000 aan het publiek werd gepresenteerd in het Lille Natural History Museum (MHNL)
Deutsch: Delcourt Gecko (Hoplodactylus delcourti): Eine in Neuseeland endemische Spezies der Riesengecko, der in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts ausgestorben ist und eine Länge von 60 cm erreichen konnte. Seit 1870 galt er als ausgestorben. Nur wenige naturalisierte oder rekonstituierte Exemplare (wie dieses) werden von verschiedenen naturhistorischen Museen in der ganzen Welt aufbewahrt. Dieses Objekt war Teil der Ausstellung "Ces chers disparus" (Die teueren Verstorbenen), die im Jahr 2000 im Lille Natural History Museum ausgestelt wurden. (MHNL) |
