Description
English: Musical notes of the Gavambhodi ragam in Carnatic music shown in a keyboard layout. See swaras in Carnatic music for details on the notation used. In this image C is used as Shadjam for simplicity sake only. In Carnatic music any note can be the tonic note (sruti), which is taken as Shadjam note. This image is for use in Wikipedia ragam articles and articles related to Carnatic music.
