English: Depiction of a Gaussian pulse and related fields in a two-wire transmission line. The conductors are indicated by light orange. Green indicates the surface charge density with polarity signs in white. Red indicates surface current density with white direction arrows. Blue-gray indicates electric field intensity with blue direction arrow. Length of dashed brown arrows indicates displacement current density. Black arrows indicate direction of propagation.
