DescriptionGatwick Stream at Gatwick Airport - geograph.org.uk - 1183890.jpg
English: Gatwick Stream at Gatwick Airport Although much of the original landscape of this area has been obliterated by the construction of the airport and all its associated infrastructure, this watercourse has remained flowing along more or less its original route. Usually tucked out of sight in culverts in the airport area it is seen here looking downstream from just north of the South Terminal Building and the railway station, with the curve of the elevated monorail transit system just visible through the trees to the right. This photograph was taken on a day following a night of heavy rain when the stream was carrying far more water then usual.
