Description
English: The Garuda is a large mythical bird, bird-like creature, or humanoid bird that appears in both Hindu and Buddhist mythology. Garuda is the mount (vahana) of the Lord Vishnu. Narayana is the Hindu god Vishnu, whose temple is located opposite to the Narayanhiti palace, Kathmandu.The name, Narayanhiti is made up of two words ‘Narayana’ and ‘Hiti’.
