| Description |
English: The first monument to King Peter IV of Portugal erected in the Rossio Square, in Lisbon. Its ungracefulness made Lisboners give it the moniker of "o galheteiro" ("the cruet-stand"). It was built in 1852 and demolished in 1864. Português: O primeiro monumento a D. Pedro IV erigido na Praça do Rossio, em Lisboa. A sua traça desgraciosa fez com que os Lisboetas lhe dessem a designação de "o galheteiro". Foi construido em 1852 e demolido em 1864. |
