Summary

Description

Heat 4 tbsp butter / ghee in a thick bottomed vessel. Add 500 gm grated carrots and fry for 2-3 min while stirring, Add 1 litre whole milk and 15 tsp sugar. Bring to a boil. Add 1tsp crushed cardamom seeds (remove them from the pod). Cook on low heat for 2hrs until the milk evaporates. Garnish with cashew nuts and rasins.

Goes well with Vanilla ice cream
