English: Froðba is a village in Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. This photo was taken from the ferry Smyril M/S on the 1st of March 2010. The landscape is covered in snow. Along the street to the left one can see the columnar basalt. The black house next to a red one in the centre of the photo was the home of Poul F. Joensen, a famous Faroese poet.
Føroyskt: Bygdin Froðba í Suðuroy. Myndin er tikin av Smyrli 1. mars 2010. Tað var kavi tann dagin. Heimið hjá skaldinum Pól F. Joensen sæst mitt á myndini, tað er svart hús við kvisti, høgrumegin tað er eitt reytt hús við kvisti. Stabbagróti í Froðba sæst til vinstru á myndini fram við niðara vegnum.
