Description
English: The file is a photograph showing Master Drummer Frisner Augustin (holding large drum in center) with the Mardi Gras band he organized in his youth in the Portail Léogane district of Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Other information
The author, who is deceased, gave a print of the photograph to the lead musician pictured in the image in 1990. The musician, Frisner Augustin, gave it to his New York City-based company to scan and use as appropriate, and to preserve in its archives.
