Description
English: The survey firm began life in 1906 when Frederick W. Freeman qualified as a Licensed Surveyor and set up business in Christchurch. He was also a Consultant Civil Engineer and practised as Frederick W Freeman, Licensed Surveyor and Consultant Engineer. Freddy Freeman was a highly respected member of Christchurch's surveying fraternity and the broader Canterbury community. He continued the practice until his retirement in 1946. He was a conservative politician and contested elections in the Lyttelton electorate (e.g. 1931 general election and 1933 by-election).
