Description

19th century cabinet card photo of a standing woman and seated older man by Fred T Palmer of Granville Marina Studios, Ramsgate, Kent, of 72 George Street, Croydon, Surrey, and of Clarence Studios, Kingston upon Thames, SW London, England. The card is undated, but the costume is possibly 1870s-1900.

Points of interest
  • The woman appears to be assisting or reassuring the man, who is possibly unable to look directly at the camers; this may indicate that he is blind.
