Object history Fait partie d’une commande de 34 portraits en buste pour être placés dans des frises, 80 francs le portrait soit un total de 2720 francs, 14 août 1838 ; payé avec 47 autres portraits divers (34 en petit buste et 14 en grand buste) 4820 francs, 29 janvier 1839 ; collection Louis-Philippe ; mentionné dans la salle n°7 de l'aile du nord, rez-de-chaussée, dans l'inventaire de 1850 ; frise décorant la salle 7 comprenant 26 médaillons représentant des personnages du règne de Louis XIII et de la régence d'Anne d'Autriche, "côté de la porte d'entrée" ; enlevée par M. Brière lors du remaniement des salles XVIIe et utilisée par M. Mauricheau-Beaupré en autant de portraits qu'il y avait de médaillons. Dépôt au ministère de l'intérieur le 9 avril 1996.
