Date of publication | 3 September 1993 |
Use in article (WP:NFCC#7) | Murder of Jean Bradley |
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | To provide a visual identification of the person who is the subject to much of the article and who was charged with the crime that is the subject of the article |
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1) |
This is the only published photo or the man in existence and it is not free. He is only known for this one event and that alone was nearly 30 years ago, so it's not like another image will be made of him now. If another one was made now he'd be 30 years older, maybe even dead, so wouldn't be the same |
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) | I made it much smaller and cropped it, and only used once to identify him briefly and never agin |
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2) |
The photo was published in only one article 30 years ago, in a fairly small regional newspaper. Also, it's awful quality and lighting so they won't be able to get much commercial opportunities anyway, and they probably won't pursue any now it's three decades later. Also I cropped it and made it really small |
Other information | This photo is nearly 30 years old, the guy is at least 68 no, or possibly dead |
