English: This is the former Scott's Creek Elementary School, located at the corner of Skyland Drive and Mineral Springs Road in Addie, North Carolina. The school was constructed in 1951 to consolidate the four schoolhouses in Scott's Creek Township, located at Addie, Balsam, Beta, and Willets. The building was used as an elementary school up through the 8th Grade up until 2001, when a new elementary school building was constructed nearby on Parris Branch Road. The building has been converted into the Jackson County School of Alternatives, which provides an alternative educational environment for special needs students.
