English: Fordhall Farmhouse Fordhall Farm - a long-established farm just west of Market Drayton, which was in danger of being lost to development in the early 2000s. Charlotte and Ben Hollins, daughter and son of Arthur and Connie, launched a public appeal to keep the farm operating and in so doing raised a sum of roughly £800,000 to save the business; a magnificent achievement in a relatively short space of time. The farm is now leased to them on a 100-year term by the Fordhall Community Land Initiative group, an 'Industrial and Provident Society' with roughly 8000 shareholders.
The farm website is www.fordhallfarm.com, where more details about the arrangement, and links to the online farm shop and the annual events calendar can be found.
