| Description |
A breakaway display of the Raptor pickup truck, with the body lifted off the chassis to show the off-road suspension bits and the powertrain. The engine is a 6.2L V8, while tires used are 315/70R17. Ford's Special Vehicle Team (SVT) is responsible for limited-production high-performance versions of production Ford vehicles. While the Raptor is primarily for off-roading, previous SVT versions of the F-150 truck, the Lightning, were geared more for on-road performance. Additionally, the SVT has also done the Mustang Cobra, as well as a version of the Contour. Seen at Los Angeles International Auto Show, 2011. |
