English: T he famous 'Querini Guards', the seven marble busts long attributed to Orazio Marinali, have recently been re-attributed to Michèle Fabris, known as L'Ongaro (Hungarian man), one of the most famous and active sculptors in the Veneto in the second half of the seventeenth.
Français : Les célèbres ‘’gardes des Querini’’, les sept bustes en marbre longtemps attribués à Orazio Marinali, ont été récemment réattribué à Michèle Fabris dit L’Ongaro (le hongrois), l’un des plus célèbres et des plus actif sculpteurs de la Vénétie dans la seconde moitié du dix-septième.
Italiano: Le famose "Guardie Querini", i sette busti marmorei a lungo attribuiti a Orazio Marinali, sono stati recentemente riattribuiti a Michele Fabris, noto come L'Ongaro, uno dei più famosi e attivi scultori del Veneto nella seconda metà del XVII.
