Summary: Flora May Slosson in 1945. Flora was the daughter of Preston William Slosson (1892-1984) and Lucy Denny Wright Slosson and the granddaughter of May Gorslin Preston Slosson (1858-1943) and Edwin Emery Slosson (1865-1929). She attended University of Michigan, where her father was professor of history, and began preaching when she was 17. After graduating from the University of Chicago theological seminary in 1954, she became a Congregationalist minister. She married Wilhelm Wuellner, who was an ordained but not practicing Lutheran minister ("Being Husband to a Minister is Tough Life: No Invitations to Wives' Teas," Chicago Daily Tribune, July 15, 1956). Flora May Slosson Wuellner is known as the author of many popular books on religion and spirituality
